Welcome to our hidden gem, a cozy basement apartment perfect for your stay that is located just minutes from WFU, shopping, and downtown. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, our apartment offers a private escape with a separate entrance. The well-lit, open-concept space features a fully equipped kitchenette, inviting living area, and a plush bedroom(s) for a restful night's sleep. Book now for a memorable stay! Hosts live on main level. Future exterior improvements to occur in 2024.

The 2-bedroom basement apartment features: Living/Dining Room: A cozy space for relaxation and entertainment, furnished with a futon, coffee table, television, and large dining table that can be used for remote work area as well. There is a fireplace but it is inactive. Kitchenette: A compact kitchen equipped with essential appliances such as a refrigerator, multi function toaster oven, microwave, plug in induction burner, k-cup coffee maker and sink. Bedrooms: Two separate bedrooms, each with a Roku television and ceiling fan. Bathroom: A three piece bathroom including walk in shower and dispenser with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Internet: Separate internet from main level which speeds of over 500mbps on the download and upload. Entrance: A separate entrance accessed via stairs at the rear of the house leading into a private foyer. Laundry Facilities: Full size washer and dryer located in the kitchenette.

Other Details to Note

Outside area includes front sitting area under canopy as well as fire pit in rear and covered picnic shelter in back yard. The lake is not part of owners property. Feel free to use the charcoal or gas grill. Charcoal is located in the storage bin next to the trash/recycle bins.

House rules

Guests that bring dogs are required to crate their dog when not attended. Dogs are not allowed on furniture. Additionally, guests are required to pick up after their dog after every poop (bags and trash can located at pet station just outside entrance door). Local bookings must contact host before booking. Local is deemed to be living in and around the Triad. Bookings within 24 hours must present drivers license Non smokers only No vaping or drug allowed No parties or events allowed No extra guests without prior consent No video productions Quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM Proper disposal of trash and recycling (under the kitchen sink) Please no food or drink in the bedrooms This is a self check in property Check-in and check-out times must be followed Guests must treat the property and its contents with respect and leave it in the same condition as they found it Any damages or missing items must be reported and paid for by the guest. Guest have the entire basement/lower level to themselves via private entrance, located at the rear of the house. Use the stairs to the right of the garage/vegetable garden and proceed to the back left corner of the house. Access is via a smart lockbox housing a key. Smart lockbox code will be provided on the morning of check-in.

The space was super clean, had all the amenities we needed, the beds were comfortable, the backyard space and surroundings were peaceful and quiet. It was the perfect place for us. Jared was also very proactive and responsive (although all the instructions were so clear and the place perfect that we had no need for anything). Would stay here again for sure!

My friend and I went to Winston Salem for a dog obedience show and this was absolutely the perfect house for our stay! It was VERY convenient to our location at the Winston Salem Dog Training Club (which is why we chose it), but Jared’s space was just above and beyond my expectations. There were cookies (& wine) waiting for us upon arrival, doggy potty area (complete with bags and trash bin), water bowls for the doggos, toiletries in case you forgot yours, and a lovely pristine space. The bed was also incredibly comfy - I didn’t want to get out of it!! On top of that, Jared communicated at every step along the way - ensuring we were comfortable and that everything was perfect. I would absolutely stay here again & plan to do so the next time I’m in the area!
