Good to know

The 2-bedroom basement apartment features: Living/Dining Room: A cozy space for relaxation and entertainment, furnished with a sofa/futon, coffee table, television, and large dining table that can be used for remote work area as well. There is a fireplace but it is inactive. Kitchenette: A compact kitchen equipped with essential appliances such as a refrigerator, multi function toaster oven, microwave, plug in induction burner, k-cup coffee maker and sink. Bedrooms: Two separate bedrooms, each with a Roku television and ceiling fan. Bathroom: A three piece bathroom including walk in shower and dispenser with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Internet: Separate internet from main level which speeds of over 500mbps on the download and upload. Entrance: A separate entrance accessed via stairs at the rear of the house leading into a private foyer. Laundry Facilities: Full size washer and dryer located in the kitchenette.

Other Details to Note

Outside area includes front sitting area under canopy as well as fire pit in rear and covered picnic shelter in back yard. The lake is not part of owners property. Feel free to use the charcoal or gas grill. Charcoal is located in the storage bin next to the trash/recycle bins.

House Rules

Guests that bring dogs are required to crate their dog when not attended. Dogs are not allowed on furniture. Additionally, guests are required to pick up after their dog after every poop (bags and trash can located at pet station just outside entrance door). Local bookings must contact host before booking. Local is deemed to be living in and around the Triad. Bookings within 24 hours must present drivers license Non smokers only No vaping or drug allowed No parties or events allowed No extra guests without prior consent No video productions Quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM Proper disposal of trash and recycling (under the kitchen sink) Please no food or drink in the bedrooms This is a self check in property Check-in and check-out times must be followed Guests must treat the property and its contents with respect and leave it in the same condition as they found it Any damages or missing items must be reported and paid for by the guest. Host is not responsible for any belongings left behind Host are not responsible for injuries that occurred on our property Guests are required to get travelers insurance If you have found to have violated our no smoking, vaping or marijuana policy you could be subject to a $150/occurrence charge and additional charges if damage has occurred to the property.

Guest Access

Guest have the entire basement/lower level to themselves via private entrance, located at the rear of the house. Use the stairs to the right of the garage/vegetable garden and proceed to the back left corner of the house. Access is via a smart lockbox housing a key. Smart lockbox code will be provided on the morning of check-in.

This property is an 11 out of 10. It was an absolute delight to stay in, and it is now my absolute first choice of accommodations, not just in Winston-Salem, but in the entire region! The entire unit was sparkling clean, the kitchen was a delight to use, and the washer and dryer were a huge convenience. The decor was BEAUTIFUL - someone clearly put a lot of time and careful consideration into furnishing it (and has a great eye). I appreciated the above and beyond touches such as the toiletries in the bathroom and the wine and cookies in the kitchen. And the property itself is so private and peaceful. Overall it was truly a pleasure!
